Special Edition

Where has the TNDC blog been the last couple of months? The simple answer is that during the summer I have gotten lazy when it comes to writing the blog. There has been no written proof of dinner club, but we have still kept our weekly dinners going. Summer is a busy time and I would rather be outside eating and not inside writing a blog. Tonight was a special night. We had Randy’s grandparents in from Florida for dinner. Since it was a beautiful New England night we grilled up 6 different types of pizza for them. They are avid readers of the blog, so even though it is summer I wanted to write one to make them happy. There is nothing better in the world than making grandparents smile and proud of you.

The last few months dinner club has not had it’s full crew together. Baron and Port have been working at the camp we all grew up at. Donut has been busy preparing for his move to the big apple. Randy leaves on Friday for his honeymoon in Europe. I have been away almost every weekend at weddings or on vacation. The last few weeks of summer TNDC will be together in varying capacities. We hope to have the gang back together after Labor Day.

This blog is dedicated to all our amazing grandparents who read every blog post and have always been our number 1 fans. My Nana & Papa mean the world to me and I know they love the fact that I get together every week with close friends to have a homemade meal. My Nana has always been in the kitchen and even has her own cookbook. I hope everyone has an awesome last few weeks of summer. Until next time…
